The joy of Blogging

A year ago, I was so excited with the idea of blogging. It’s like a place to jot down my thoughts, to make them seen and to release their weigh inside my head. I blogged or composed a lot I think.

Then by end of 2021, more seriousness came. Comparison also arose. I questioned my own blog – this one, particularly my journey.

What were the questions?

What’s the point for creating this blog? To have fun or to monetize?

Don’t you feel that you have more serious things to do than just write your thoughts here? Or don’t you have anything else more interesting to write? If not, then don’t.

And don’t you have time for other important things to do? Why are you doing this?

Basically, a lot of random thoughts and a lot of “not necessary” caused such a long pause in this blog. Not until today, I realized it earlier I guess. That I blogged shorter on my page, in my journal (the paper one), and in other forms of writing.

But damn it, they are still somehow serious, formal and not enough.

Today, specifically today, I found a blog on Learning and it was written since 2016. I was drawn to this guy’s words and no brainer, I went to find the subscription box. Hope that he still writes until now. I read his profile, someone working and learning quite a lot I must say. What he studied was learning and the mental models. How fascinating! Isn’t it the most attractive thing (or one of) is our minds?

Then I subscribed. And I saw that he still writes. YAHOO !!!!

Then I realized that we don't blog for the same reasons. Some people blog to make money. Others blog to build reputation. Some blog to reflect and connect with the world. Some blog to do it all. Well, of course that's an ambitious one but we all know that one-size doesn't fit all. Then, I guess I set up this blog - Minh Ngoc's Journey with a clear aim - to connect to myself, to you who read and keep on the reflection.

Just want to share my recent muse to lift me up. Great reminder to me. Blogging, first of all, must be fun and joyful ^^
