While I am typing these words, the song just plays above and keeps its loop in my head. Once again, the song proves that one, after went through so much things that might wreck you hard, could finally be this colorful, lively and full of energy and feminine again. I love this version of Miley, and I don’t know why, for some reasons I have lot of feminine songs coming back to my mind.
What it means to be feminine or to be a bit more emotional, listening to all these princess, wedding songs and pinky sort of muse? I don’t know. I just know it maybe a piece of mine is like this. It’s a puzzle that keeps me the pinky girl who see things softer. I guess this part sparks the joy in life as well as hope that I always have carried all along. For quite some time, what occupy my playlist are rough and tough song, gentle and calm song or even childish but inspirational songs like Disney soundtracks. But I, for some reasons, left these touchy mushy songs behind.
I remember the day I was introduced to this song, it was an automatic algorithm recommendation from Youtube. I guess it was in 2018 or 2019. It didn’t catch my attention at first. But there was something in the song that sparked joy to me. I guess the frequency and energy from these beats. Pausing for a while, I realized it was Miley, the girl who sang Wrecking Balls, the Climb and Party in the USA. Those are very different songs you could imagine that can stand next to Malibu, right? And that’s when I realized she transformed.
This time the song finds me again. A little different feeling. A relief. A hope and full of love. Something still unknown. But something close to the sea, to my dearest place on Earth. So then something promising. So then enjoy the song and the vibe. Until next time.
