Recently, there’s a new finding that changes the way I feel and act a lot.

It is actually a very small finding. But I couldn’t imagine how this perspective could change the way I feel. Huge one.

“It’s ok that you are not on time. You are late. It’s ok, we know that. So let’s pick up on where we’re supposed to do now and continue.”

Isn’t it beautiful?

Through reading this, saying it or even hearing it, one feels so much less heavy on the things we SHOULD HAVE. Rather than that, we look at the things we CAN DO NOW.

To some extent, it’s such a great finding because it matters a lot these days. People, on the verse of back-to-normal time, we are tempted to add more tasks to our backpack. In a way, we become both more positive and ambitious. And we sometimes, forget, we only still have one body, 2 eyes, 2 ears, 1 brain and 24 hours. Families, our life maintain the same, nothing disappears.

So then, by adding up our to-do list or to-achieve list, we subconsciously pressurize ourselves. And when the day comes, we get up at 6h30 instead of 6h or 5h30; we feel like SH*T and it looks like we cannot have the day as we expected. What we planned last night, in a sudden, go to waste.

NOPE!

What’s done is done. By looking at “So what do we have now? So can we do that? YES? Ok, let’s do it!”, we have more than we lost more.

It's more tolerant to ourselves. It gives us a direction to move forward. And on top of that, it means everything, literally every little thing counts. Your day may not start at 5h30 as you wanted, it starts at 7 or even 10. But you still have the chance to create such a beautiful day.

Trust me, it works.
